Position Summary

We are searching for an experienced Seafood Salesperson who has 5 years of proven sales experience. Seafood Salesperson will be responsible for sales activities, from lead generation through close by interacting with established customers and developing new accounts. Works with the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company vision and values.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Sources new customers and generates qualified leads.
  • Builds strong customer relationships by routinely and systematically making face-to-face sales calls to the Customer base.
  • Presents certain company presentations focused mainly on the products and services while on site. 
  • Responds to customer phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous, and concise manner.
  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Enters customer orders with accuracy and assure customer satisfaction.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products.
  • Makes follow-up calls to customers to ensure that the customers are satisfied.
  • Maintains close contact with customers, resolves certain issues and answers relevant questions.
  • Meet personal/sales team targets and call handling quotas.



Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of employees and managers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and computer-based applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of related experience and/or training.  
  • Three or more years of sales, marketing, or food industry experience.
  • Prior experience working in the food industry preferred
