Head Cook - The primary job responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, ensuring sufficient quantity and high-quality food preparation and production, while maintaining compliance with State and Federal Health Regulations. Specific duties include supervision of Galley Staff, including work hours, task assignments, disciplinary actions. Ensures all State and Federal Food Preparation Regulations are adhered to in all aspects of food handling (proper storage, preparation, cleaning, and disposal), creating menus, maintaining low waste while ensuring sufficient quantity, variety, and quality of food, maintaining inventory for the Galley. Other duties as assigned. Β Must have a current TB test. Must be able to read, write and speak English, and possess the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs. Must be able to learn and use Ultipro HRIS software. Must Serve Safe Manager's Card. Ideal candidates will have strong supervisory skills, and verifiable food handling and cooking experience. 5+ years of prior experience is preferred. Must be able to multi-task, have strong organizational and people skills, and have the ability to recognize, correct, and report safety hazards. Must be willing to live and work in a multi-cultural team environment.
