The General Manager is an Salary Manager position (exempt) that presents an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in our company. Put your experience and knowledge to use while developing strategies for team motivation and optimal results. You will play an essential role in the success of your assigned store by ensuring we meet all the Wahoo's operational and financial requirements. The position will allow you to build and develop a team in your home location, creating a succession plan to support your future endeavors with the Company.


Job Responsibilities


· Oversee daily operations of the business


· Maintain top quality assurance and Guest Service Standards


· Focus on building Sales and Forecasting future performance


· Plan and organize own schedule, maximizing productivity


· Maintain optimal results on Key Performance Indicators (Gaming Revenue, Retail Revenue, Labor cost, food cost) by implementing strategies to grow the business


· Create a development plan for existing personnel (Kitchen Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, Leads, Bar Manager (if applicable), bartenders etc.)


· Delegate responsibilities and tasks to Kitchen Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, Bar Manager, Bartenders, Leads, etc.)


· Remain accountable for all profit and loss figures


· Oversee key hiring and talent development as well as counseling when necessary.


· Find new ways to promote the restaurant through community reach


· Weekly meetings with Senior Management, Monthly Meetings with Management Tea, Weekly store level meetings, Self Growth and Development




Knowledge and Skills:


· Ability to always deal tactfully and professionally with guests, co-workers, and the public


· Promote a positive and friendly team-work attitude in the execution of all duties


· Ability to follow directions and to remain calm during emergency situations


· Restricted Gaming Knowledge and Experience


· Reasoning skills that include the ability to understand issues and process information for the purpose of giving and receiving feedback and instructions

· Able to be mobile and perform the physical requirements of the job to include bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and repetitive motions


· Able to move intermittently throughout the workday

· Able to understand, remember and follow basic instructions and guidelines and perform basic operations
