A DAY IN THE LIFE


Your role is diverse, overseeing day-to-day groundskeeping and building maintenance while coaching and training staff. Utilizing various tools, you guarantee facilities are well-maintained and safe. You're responsible for preventive maintenance, fire safety inspections, and ordering supplies, ensuring efficient operations within budget. Additionally, you oversee seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, and maintain parks and cemetery grounds, ensuring the community's safety and attractiveness. Your dedication secures Daggett County as a safe and welcoming place for all.




QUALIFICATIONS


Do you have strong leadership skills? Are you committed to ensuring the safety and functionality of our county's facilities?


If you answered "yes" to these questions and meet the following requirements, we need you as our Facilities Maintenance Director!



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license

  • Two (2) years of specialized training in commercial building maintenance or a related field

  • Five (5) years of experience in custodial work and building maintenance, including supervision and budget management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of construction techniques related to a trade like carpentry, plumbing, or electrical

  • Ability to move up to 75 lbs
