About the role:


Location: Fremont, CA - 5 days onsite is a must


Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Director/Director of Ads to develop our Advertising strategy within Weee!. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue through advertising, developing strategic partnerships, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize advertising performance


Key Responsibilities:


Strategy and Leadership: 



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive advertising strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. 

  • Lead a team of business development associates, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data analytics, to ensure effective strategy implementation


Revenue Growth: 



  • Drive revenue growth through the creation and management of advertising partnerships. 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including potential partnerships with brands and advertisers. 

  • Manage budget and financial performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. 


Advertising  Operations:



  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, including ad inventory management, campaign execution, and performance optimization.  

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 


Data and Analytics: 



  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize advertising effectiveness 

  • Develop and maintain robust reporting and measurement frameworks to track performance and ROI. 

  • Utilize customer insights and market research to drive innovation and competitive advantage.


Client and Stakeholder Management: 



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. 

  • Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson representing Weee! at industry events and conferences.

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service excellence. 


Experience/Qualifications: 



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; 

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

  • Experience in media, advertising, or a related field, with a focus on digital and retail/consumer advertising 

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful media strategies. 

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

  • In-depth knowledge of the e-commerce landscape, digital marketing trends, and media technologies.

Compensation Range



  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $210,000

  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 

  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
